The Brighton Beach Bear boogies on the top of the bus. Like most "jumpers on" during a bus trip, the Bear didn't want to leave once the bus had to move again. After driving up and down the beach several times, the bear finally was convinced to climb down from the roof and go on his merry way. "This guy's 'barely' with it," remarked Prankster John Swan. |

Simon Babbs, chief Prankster technical advisor and the son of Ken Babbs, changes batteries on his digital camera. Throughout the tour Simon and the Pranksters will shoot nearly 100 hours of video tape that will be added to the mass of footage in the psychedelic archives.
Channel Four has mobile editing facilities on site and they are compiling their footage into two half-hour segments. They have to make haste because their first show airs on Wednesday, Augus 11, the day of the eclipse. |
